According to reports, the findings are based on Israeli government filings indicating that Megamot Shalom received significant funding from foreign donors, including US-based nonprofit groups. Some of these funds were reportedly designated for activities associated with Canary Mission.
The investigation further references internal online platforms said to have been used in the preparation and coordination of content prior to publication, arguing that these materials strengthen the connection between the nonprofit and the website’s operations.
Canary Mission, which emerged in 2015, has operated without publicly disclosing its leadership structure.
